My playground
I doubt it will happen, but I would love if Autobiography of Jane Eyre could somehow have some version of the scene  in the novel where Rochester dresses up as a gypsy woman to find out how Jane really feels about him.
I feel like so many people just see him as this cranky guy with a dark, mysterious past, but, in the novel, I think he actually has a pretty good sense of humor, which I always saw as being one of the things that helped him and Jane connect in the first place. (It’s certainly one of the things that made me enjoy his scenes so much)
Plus, his interactions with both Jane and Blanche in this scene show that he is looking for someone who wants him for him, and not for his money.
